Gilcrest Center (“we”) runs this website to help families, referral partners and job seekers reach us. This policy explains what the website collects and how we use it.

What we collect

• Information you send us. When you fill out a form, we collect what you type: usually your name, phone, email, which center you prefer, and your answers to a few questions. Job applicants may attach a résumé. Please don’t include medical details in forms; we discuss care needs by phone.
• Care guide and chat. The care guide runs in your browser. We count answer choices in aggregate (for example, how many people are caring for a parent) without linking them to you. If you ask the chat a question it can’t answer, we may keep the question, with anything that looks like an email or phone number removed, to improve our website.
• Visit statistics. We count page visits, the type of device and the website that referred you. We don’t use cookies for this and we don’t store your IP address. Visitors are counted with a one-way code that changes every day, so we can’t follow you from one day to the next.

How we use it

We use what you send to respond to you, arrange visits, care and rides, review job applications, and improve our website. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who sees it

Form submissions are stored in our website’s secure admin, which only authorized Gilcrest staff can sign in to. Email notifications to staff say that a form arrived and link to the admin; by default they don’t include your details. We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and email, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Closed form submissions are deleted automatically after 24 months. Visit statistics are kept for up to 25 months.

Security

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-step sign-in for staff, and access limited by role. No website is perfectly secure, so please call us for anything sensitive.

This website isn’t intended for children under 13. Information about the care and services Gilcrest provides to members is covered by separate notices given at enrollment.
