Adult day care
A full, safe day, then home for supper.
Nursing, meals, personal care and real friendships, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Adult day care at Gilcrest combines health services with social and therapeutic activities. Your loved one gets nursing, meals, personal care and real friendships, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, and keeps living at home.
What is adult day care?
Adult day care is a safe, supervised place for older adults and adults with disabilities to spend the day while they keep living at home.
It sits between staying home alone and moving to a nursing home. The person you love gets care and company during the day. You get the hours you need to work, rest, and simply be their family again, not only their caregiver.
Gilcrest is an adult day health center: we pair nursing and personal care with social and therapeutic activities.
Who we care for
Parents, spouses, brothers and sisters, grown children, aunts, uncles and friends. If they’re an adult who shouldn’t be alone all day, we’re here.
- Alzheimer’s, dementia, MCI and other memory loss
- MS, ALS, diabetes, heart disease and other chronic conditions
- Physical disabilities and limited mobility
- Adults coming home from a hospital, rehab or nursing facility
- Older adults who are alone and lonely
- Family caregivers who work or need rest
